Speaking of drinking, the Nada in Hyogo Prefecture is famous.

By the way, speaking of three major drinkers in Japan
It is said to be "Nada" in Hyogo Prefecture, "Fushimi" in Kyoto Prefecture, "Saijo" in Hiroshima Prefecture.
There are also two Kansai areas.






Actually Sakai's sake brewery was flourishing as much as the Nada in the Edo period, and it seems there was a period called sake making in the Sakai industry.

However, as the age passed, high quality water, which is very important to drinking, declined, many brewery companies disappeared due to air raids during the Pacific War, sake brewery declined, in the Meiji Era There were about 100 brewery manufacturers, in 1971 the last brewery manufacturer threw down goodwill and the history of sake brewing in Sakai City began curtaining.

Footsteps of reconstruction

However, once again in Sakai's sake brewery, such movements are taking place in Sakai.
"Sen no Rikyu" of Sake Brewery "Sakai Brewery" is newly born in 2015.

In 2016, we began manufacturing and marketing Koji Manufacturing Company "Amekaze" doburoku.

Also, Masuda Shuzo once used Masuda Shuzo revived the former stock "Gold doves".

It is not easy thing to say in a single word to restore sake brewery.
Especially fund procurement should have been a big issue.

Modern style of sake making

There was a project that utilized cloud funding for raising funds.
It is a dragonfly of "AMWKAZE" "1668" introduced earlier.

Crowdfunding is a method of seeking financial assistance from the general public, not financing from banks and funds.
With the goal of 700,000 yen, I was recruiting fund raising entitled "Sakai Doburoku Project".

Unfortunately the funds we gathered were not achieved at about 280,000 yen, but 46 people agreed with this project and were contributed.

This project ended last year, but the hot feeling of "rain breeze" is transmitted to us.


I would like to support this activity that started moving in Sakai.
Once I find it in a store, I will take it in my hand.
